Crescent is planned as a G+8-floor complex covering about 140,000 square feet of built-up area. It will contain 100 residential or commercial units and include a 72-key hotel slated to open in 2029.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ajay K. Bakaya, Chairman of Sarovar Hotels, and Akshay Taneja, Managing Director of TDI Infratech. Their presence showed the partnership’s strategic importance.

The proposed Sarovar Portico will offer a spa, gym, swimming pool, all-day dining outlet and banquet facilities. It is positioned to serve both business and leisure travelers throughout Mohali and the broader Chandigarh Tricity region.

Given the pace of commercial growth in the area, the hotel is likely to attract steady demand from corporate guests and tourists alike. Its integration within Crescent may also enhance the appeal of the surrounding office spaces.

“Crescent reflects our vision of creating integrated destinations where commercial infrastructure and branded hospitality complement each other to deliver long-term value. Our partnership with Sarovar Hotels is an important step in advancing this approach, strengthening the project’s proposition while responding to the evolving needs of businesses and travellers. As Mohali continues to develop as a commercial and urban centre, we see an opportunity to create destinations that contribute meaningfully to the region’s growth,” said Akshay Taneja, Managing Director of TDI Infratech.

“Our partnership with TDI Infratech at Crescent reflects our focus on expanding our presence in markets where business activity and urban development are creating opportunities for quality hospitality. Mohali’s position within the Chandigarh Tricity region offers an opportunity to serve a diverse mix of corporate and leisure travellers. We look forward to bringing the Sarovar Hotels’ experience to the market through this development,” said Rajesh Ranjan, Senior Vice President – Development, Sarovar Hotels.

The collaboration blends TDI Infratech’s real-estate development expertise with Sarovar Hotels’ operational capabilities, aiming to deliver an integrated commercial destination that includes on-site accommodation and guest services.
