Jetstar’s sales team is embarking on a nationwide tour, meeting Australian travel advisors in person across seven cities: Hobart, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne, from October 6 to 28, marking the airline’s inaugural national roadshow.
Each event will run from 6-9pm, giving the airline an opportunity to share updates with advisors, alongside insights from destination partners and a look at what’s coming next for the low-cost carrier, according to Raymond Atchison, Jetstar’s Manager of Australian Sales and Distribution.
Atchison said the roadshow is a great chance for the airline to share what’s new at Jetstar, thank trade partners for their support, and hear firsthand what matters most to agents and their customers. A major prize giveaway will also be held at every event, although details are being kept under wraps for now.
The roadshow comes as Jetstar continues to add capacity, routes, and product options across its network. In August, the airline launched the first direct low-cost service between Australia and Sri Lanka with its inaugural Melbourne-Colombo flight. They have also announced the expansion of their Tassie network and the extension of their Sunshine Coast-Cairns service.
Jetstar is set to become the first airline to carry passengers from Western Sydney International when it launches Gold Coast flights on 25 October. The airline will also stop using cabin baggage scales from 2 February 2027, replacing the system with one built around bag dimensions. Recently, Jetstar announced a 15 per cent increase in domestic earnings in FY26, with international capacity up 11 per cent.
The roadshow events will be held at various locations, including the Henry Jones Hotel in Hobart, Lulu Rooftop on the Gold Coast, and Morris House in Melbourne. Travel sellers can register their interest in the events, which will provide a timely chance for advisors to understand what’s new at Jetstar.
With routes, capacity, and Western Sydney changing its proposition, the roadshow is an opportunity for travel advisors to get up-to-date information on the airline’s latest developments. As the airline continues to grow and expand its services, the roadshow will help advisors to better understand Jetstar’s offerings and provide their customers with more options. The airline’s sales team will use this chance to share updates and hear from advisors, which will help them to improve their services and provide better support to trade partners.
